The Mighty Mos Def drops a new disc, Tru3 Magic on Dec. 19th (according to Amazon), and I’ve got both new Mos Def instrumentals from the promo 12″ for all ya backpackers and beat fiends. Ahh, “New Mos Def instrumentals”…feels good to say at last. The first, Undeniable, is a classic loop (Unstoppable anyone?) reworked by Kanye West, the second is a mystery to me. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say 88-Keys, because the promo has no production credits (fuckers!) and 88 Keys has been confirmed as a producer, yet his name doesn’t appear on my ghetto adavance tracklist stolen from Okay Player. I put two and two together and there’s my guess.Turntable Lab seems to think it’s Hi-Tek, but It doesn’t knock enough in my opinion to be a beat from ‘Tek, but it’s dope, so imma say 88 Keys.Anyone know the credits, hook me up!
