As we touched on in the 9th Wonder post a few days back, Khrysis is one half of Virginia’s Away Team, the other half being 9th Wonder. He’s also the recording engineer for Little Brother and the rest of the guys in Justus working out of the Chopp Shop studio (9th’s lab). Short version: He’s a monster on the beats.This one from Masta Ace’s “Long Hot Summer” album (which always gets mad love ’round here…go get a copy here) is in honor of the constant grind that your man Splifford J.
