I always put Pharoahe Monch in my top 10 rappers, no doubt, because he manages to be intelligent and grimey at the same time. One of those cats like Tragedy, DP or Cormega who know the power of the word and use it to illustrate instead of advertise. Also, he makes ill beats. Bet you didn’t know that!

    He’s done some great beats for Mr. Complex, like “I’ Rhymin”, “Divine Intervention” and especially “Big Fronter”. I didn’t really like Internal Affairs though.
